Update

I am currently in the middle of moving and packing things for storage and I had to run to the post office, so I decided I would do a quick update. Thanks to Hector First Assembly for the free internet. Things are so crazy right now. I didn't realize that this was going to be so hard. I didn't realize that I would be going through things that we have had for almost 16 years. It's hard to figure out what to keep and what to throw away. What can be stored in the heat and what can not. What to take to Costa Rica and what to take to Guatemala. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

We are currently at 93% of our budget. That means that we like about $464.00. Praise the Lord! I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Please pray that we will get this raised ASAP because I sure would like to have a few days to rest before we leave. We are all very tired and need some down time before heading to Costa Rica. Also pray that we would learn the language with ease. This is going to be a very tuff school and very stressful. It's almost like we are leaving one stress and going to another one. A different kind of stress but still stress.
Thanks for all your prayers and support.

Catch up

Here are several pics that I have not had a chance to put on here. So, I guess I will play catch up!

The first three pics are from a Travelers game that we went to last night.

Megan

Me and Shannon - I am so not a baseball fan, but I was a good sport and went with the family.

This is the All State Choir. We went and seen them last Monday night and they were awesome!

Reagan, Madison, and Megan - Meg got to see them when we went to Star City and she was so happy to see them.

This is a cake some of the kids made for us at Star City. Thanks girls, we love you!

This is the group that we went out to eat with at Star City. We miss them so much.

HOMELESS and loving it!

We sold our house! We now need 950.00 in monthly commitments and we will be ready to board the plane. We are so ready for all of this to be over with. We will now start sorting and packing and moving out over the next couple of weeks. We will also be turning our internet off and our cell phones. I will soon be posting a phone number on here if anyone needs to get a hold of us. I will try to keep the blog updated as much as possible. I know that we will have internet over the weekends. Keep praying! We need our support to come in ASAP!

Update

We are at 85%, which means that we still need 989.00 in monthly commitments. Our goal is to have this raised by the end of this month. We are so thankful to all who have partnered with us. We could not get to Guatemala without your help. We are down to leaving in 47 days. We can't believe it! We have a skype account up and running. Our skype names are shannonwaynepruitt and susanpruitt, if you want to find us. We will also be getting a packet 8 phone and will post our number as soon as we do. We are so glad that we will have so many great ways to keep in touch with our friends and family.

Prayer Request:

*Protection as we continue to travel
*We are still trying to sell our house
*Please pray that we will have our budget raised soon
*Pray for our families that we will be leaving behind

We had an opportunity to go to camp last Thursday to see some really good friends of ours.

Below is a picture of us with the big buddy barrel. Thanks to all the kids who give to BGMC.

Last weeks fun

Last week was so busy! I am starting to wonder if it will ever stop. We still have almost 2 more months of this business. I hope that I can make it. Here is a recap of last week:

Sunday - Russellville and Greenforest (spent the night in Eureka)
Monday - left Eureka and went to Branson
Tuesday - Branson
Wednesday - left Branson and went to West Fork, then Prairie Grove
Thursday - went to Hector to do laundry and reports for Springfield
Friday - went to Bismark to pick up Megan
Saturday - went back to West Fork
Sunday - went to Huntsville, then to Fayetteville, then Hector

We thought we would sneak in some downtime in Branson, but that didn't happen. Not when you have a 13 year old with you. Why don't kids understand that you just want to rest?

We are at 84% in our monthly budget! That means 1089.00 more to go. Keep praying!

This was a great church

These next few pictures are of me and Ethan playing around. Never knew you could have so much fun with a magnifying glass.
