The Traveling Cockroach

When we were living in CR we had some really great friends that lived above us.  Meet  Steve and Jill McCarthy.  They are from New York and are on their way to Uruguay.  

I'm not sure if I even remember where the cockroach came from but, Steve found this cockroach.  Meet Mr. Cockroach.

Mr. Cockroach became a little game between us and the McCarthy's.  Ok, really with Steve and the kids.  Steve would put the cockroach in the kids beds, food, or drinks.  Then in return the kids would return the favor and sneak Mr. C into something of Steves.  I remember them taking string and hanging Mr. C in front of Steve's door then knocking and running.  On our last night in CR we ended up with Mr. C one last time. He flew to the states with us and before we left for Ecuador, we mailed him (and candy) back to Steve and Jill.  Well, Mr. C has now shown up in Ecuador.  (along with some great coffee from CR)  Before this thing is over Mr. C is going to travel around the world.  It's really kinda of fun though, it makes for a nice surprise.
